On the gods and the world : Orpheus and the Presocratics in the Derveni papyrus /

A new interpretation of the Derveni papyrus, an important testimony of intellectual life in Greece of late fourth century BCE, which combines subjects from ancient religious thought, allegorical explanation of Orphic theogonic poetry, and Presocratic discussions regarding the nature of the world.
