Description
Summary:This dataset guide will teach the reader how to analyze marketing data collected in an academic setting. The data accompanying this dataset guide were obtained from a marketing fundamentals course with undergraduate students. The professor designed the experiment, and the students were responsible for collecting the data, following the guidelines provided in class, and using volunteers on campus. The design of the samples corresponds to two versions of a new natural cold tea, to which coloring was applied to give the green and dark color. Each participant had to evaluate each product before and after trying it. To control for the effect of presentation order, half of the sample assessed the dark version first, then the green version, and vice versa. Both groups answered the same evaluation questions before and after testing each product version. This data set of 150 respondents allows us to evaluate the effect of color on the perception of this product using the Repeated Measure Analysis of Variance (RM-ANOVA) technique, in which the data obtained are analyzed when a dependent group design has been used, in which the same sample has been exposed to the same experimental conditions. This extract includes their answers to the same question regarding the black and green versions of the tea under study after they had consumed it; these variables are appropriate for a RM-ANOVA. Let's delve into the question: Does the perceived healthiness of green and black tea change after consumption? A teaching guide, a student guide, and a how-to guide for JASP accompany the dataset file.
