VBA adds programming functionality to Microsoft Excel. A Macro is a VBA program that can be recorded to auto-generate code in VBA. VBA is a simplified form of Visual Basic and lacks full-featured programming support. VBA extends the power of Excel, especially for tasks that are repeated.
