Retrospections of Dorothea Herbert,

Dorothea Herbert (1770-1829), born in County Kilkenny, Ireland was the daughter of Nicholas Herbert clergyman, and Martha Cuffe daughter of Lady Desart. In her autobiography Herbert describes her life and experiences in 18th century upper class Irish society.
