A committee appointed by the Commons assembled in Parliament, : to consider of such grievances as have been promised to the people to be redressed; and of such ease as is fit to be given in relation to their burthens, their freedoms and liberties, of reforming of courts of justice, and proceedings at law, and in matters of trade, and of all other things of publique concernment. Die Sabbathi, 8 Januarii, 1647. Ordered by the Commons in Parliament assembled, that the committee appointed to consider of publique grievances, shall have power to send for parties, witnesses, papers, records; and that the said committee and order to them be forthwith printed.
