Designed by Heatherwick Studio, the soaring centerpiece of Hudson Yards' Public Square & Gardens is a completely different kind of monument. With 2,500 steps, 154 staircases and 80 landings, a full mile of pathways in al, it is one of the most complex pieces of steelwork ever constructed.
