In 1945, during the last days of the war, a submarine flees Oslo for South America with a group of Nazis and sympathizers onboard. A young French doctor is also taken aboard to care for a wounded passenger. Soon intrigues develop, hatreds spring up, and then mutiny erupts on the submarine.
