The whole art of navigation : Containing, the application of geometry and astronomy to the practice of plain and mercator's sailing; both performed either with, or without the logarithms. The description and use, at large, of the most necessary instruments for observations at sea the explanation of sea-terms, in an alphabetical order. The method of finding the variation of the compass by the sun's azimuth and amplitude; as also keeping a sea-journal, and the several ways of correcting the dead-reckoning, &c. with the most useful tables in navigation.
