Kalinka : Rhythms and Soul of the Slavic Peoples.

This program presents a performance of the character dance Kalinka, which is based on authentic steps and patterns of Russian, Ukranian, Gypsy, and Polish folk traditions. The dance composition, which was choreographed by Mikhail Berkut, is strongly influenced by classical dance technique.
