Describes the proposed closely spaced basing (CSB) mode for the M-X missile, and presents pro and con views of the "fratricide" effect whereby enemy missiles exploding at the M-X site would destroy further incoming missiles. Discusses potential additions to CSB, criticisms, and responses.
