Textile Import Liberalization : U.S. Implementation of the GATT Plan.

Examines U.S. plans for the elimination of textile import quotas, as called for in the Agreement on Textiles and Clothing reached as part of the Uruguay Round of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT). Also discusses alternatives to the proposed quota phaseout plan.
