Letter from the Secretary of the Army transmitting a letter from the Chief of Engineers, United States Army, dated July 6, 1949, submitting a report, together with accompanying papers and illustrations, on a review of reports on Gulf Intracoastal Waterway to determine whether an alternate side channel via a land cut from big lagoon to Pensacola Harbor, or other alternate route to said harbor, is advisable at this time, requested by a resolution of the Committee on Rivers and Harbors, House of Representatives, adopted July 20, 1946.
