Letter from the Secretary of the Army transmitting a letter from the Chief of Engineers, Department of the Army, dated January 14, 1954, submitting a report, together with accompanying papers and illustrations, on a survey of the upper Iowa River, Iowa. This interim report is submitted in response to resolutions of the Committee on flood control, House of Representatives, adopted on September 18, 1944, requesting a review of report on the Mississippi River between Coon Rapids Dam and the Mouth of the Ohio River, with a view to determining the advisability of providing flood protection along the Mississippi River above the Mouth of the Missouri River.
