Resolution of the Legislature of the State of Texas, requesting the senators and representatives of that state in Congress to use every exertion in their power to obtain the enactment of a law to authorize the payment to that state of the balance of the appropriation made by the act of 28th February, 1855, providing for the payment of a certain portion of the public debt of Texas.
