Oberto : [conte di San Bonifacio] /

Set in 13th century Italy, Oberto was Verdi's first published opera and was performed at La Scala, Milan in 1839. Oberto is a story of betrayal against a woman and a homeland. It is the story of a woman who hunts a traitor and of a father obsessed with honor.
