Reasons and motives humbly offered to the consideration of the public in general, and to all humane and charitably-disposed Christians in particular, which have induced the heritors and members of session in the West-Kirk parish in the county of Edinburgh, to resolve upon the setting up a workhouse for the relief of the poor of the said parish.
