State of Rhode-Island and Providence Plantations. In General Assembly, June session, 1779 : An act assessing and apportioning a tax of two hundred and twenty-five thousand pounds lawful money upon the inhabitants of this state, for the payment of the continental tax apportioned to this state for the year 1779, by a resolution of Congress passed the twenty-first day of May last.
