By the president and the Supreme Executive Council of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a proclamation : Whereas the General Assembly ... did approve and confirm the line lately run by messieurs M'Clean and Nevil, as the boundary between this state and that of Virginia ... we do hereby charge ... all persons ... who heretofore may have supposed themselves to be there settled within the state of Virginia, to take notice of the proceedings aforesaid, and to pay due obedience to the laws of this commonwealth.
