Martha /

After Martha Hyer's tyrannical father dies suddenly during their holiday in Italy, she meets and is proposed to by engineer Helmut Salomon. After their marriage, Helmut's behavior becomes increasingly oppressive and Martha becomes ever more fearful and desparate.
