Extreme environments : sand dunes, hot springs, and tundra /

How do life forms adapt to extreme terrestrial and aquatic environments? This program answers that question by examining plants and animals that call quartzite and gypsum sand dunes, phreatic caves, acidic geothermal springs, and alpine tundra home.
