Gegenbilder : GDR underground films.

The State had a monopoly on film production in East Germany, but it wasn't absolute. An underground films scene flourished from 1970 through the 1980s. This collection is a selection of ten films from the Ex Oriente Lux archive, which contains over 200 films from this period.
