This program provides an introduction to Shakespeare's Roman tragedies: Julius Caesar, Antony and Cleopatra and Coriolanus. Particular attention is given to Shakespeare's treatment of the themes of leadership and loyalty, tyranny and tyrannicide, and political and personal treachery.
