Indians of the oaks /

In the first of these two tales a young white boy relates his experiences living with the Kumeyaay, also known as Diegueno, Indians of Southern California and in the second a young girl from the same tribe learns a new kind of medicine when she falls ill and is cared for by a white doctor.
