Summary:	This book is offered as a practical resource to help psychologists learn and apply the APA Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct. In 3 concise sections, "Ethics for Psychologists" informs psychologists of salient considerations in ethical decision making. The 1st section acquaints the reader with the overall process of ethical decision making and describes the history of the APA Ethics Code. The 2nd part examines the 1992 revision of the Ethics Code in depth, including standards that are applicable to all psychologists and standards that may be more or less applicable to an individual psychologist, depending on his or her professional role. The last section puts the ethical principles in context by describing how psychology is regulated by professional organizations as well as local, state, and federal law.
