| Summary: | "The favorable reception accorded the "Measurement of Adult Intelligence" and the Wechsler-Bellevue Intelligence Scales has made a second edition of the book necessary sooner than either writer or publisher anticipated. The present edition differs from the first primarily by the inclusion of a chapter on the clinical features of the Scale and their diagnostic application. A few changes have been made in the wording of some of the test questions and new examples have been added to the scoring directions of the Comprehension, Similarities and Vocabulary tests. Also new are two tables giving the means and standard deviations of all the subtests of the Scale for ages 7 to 49, and several formulae for obtaining I.Q.'s for ages beyond those given in the original tables.
