Despite growing scientific attention, efforts to understand and manage nanoplastic contamination remain dispersed across disciplinary boundaries, often limiting the development of integrated assessment and intervention frameworks. One Health Approaches to Nanoplastics Contamination: Biotechnological and AI Solutions addresses this challenge through a multidisciplinary One Health perspective that brings together environmental science, toxicology, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, microbiome research, nutrition, exposure science, environmental engineering, and sustainability assessment. Rather than examining nanoplastics through isolated disciplinary lenses, the volume follows a coherent scientific pathway that traces their progression from environmental occurrence and forensic source attribution to environmental fate, transport dynamics, exposure pathways, biological responses, mitigation strategies, and remediation. The chapters are organized around a unifying conceptual trajectory linking source attribution, environmental behavior, exposure dynamics, toxicological consequences, gut microbiome perturbations, food-system contamination, translational mitigation approaches, and the techno-economic dimensions of remediation.
