However, there is a lack of established methodologies for the evaluation of the impact of DIY projects or the effectiveness of the media that archaeologists employ to disseminate knowledge about the past. This book employs a practice-based experimental approach using different digital storytelling tools to develop a methodology for evaluating impact regarding archaeological knowledge dissemination. The media include a textual story, an interactive digital narrative (IDN) and a VR video. The narratives recreate the life and death of the individual MYC1V buried at grave V at Grave Circle A at Mycenae. The research uses a mixed methods design to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data in the form of surveys and structured interviews.
