Imprint to volume 2: Printed for the editor, by Joseph Downing in Bartholomew-Close, and Henry Woodfall in the Strand. 1734. Pagination: Volume 1: 16 unnumbered pages, 836 pages, 12 unnumbered pages ; Volume 2: 22 unnumbered pages, 360, 357-765 pages, 1 unnumbered page. Signatures: volume 1: pi² a-c² B-10C²; volume 2: pi1 a-e² B-Yyyy² [Yyyy]² Zzzz-9I²(-9I2). An extra gathering signed 4Y in square brackets and paginated 357-360 in square brackets inserted in volume 2. Many copies have manuscript note on verso of title page of volume 2: "The original manuscript of both volumes of this history will be deposited in the Cotton Library by T. Burnett". Part of volume 1 printed by William Bowyer; his records show 6000 ordinary and 300 large-paper copies printed. Title ornaments; head- and tail-pieces; initials. The Cushing Library/Rare Books copy was acquired as part of the Lois Goddard Morrison Collection of Eighteenth Century Literature. Includes list of subscribers in each volume.
