Sixth state of map, as indicated by the privilege statement; the presence of putti in the cusps; the addition of Nova Guinea, Quiri Regio and additional Pacific Islands; changes in California and Arctic coasts; grid reference letters in the borders of the hemispheres and around the 80 degree north and south latitude lines; and the addition of dotted borders in North America. The large inland sea in North America has also been replaced by Samson's 1651 depiction of the Great Lakes.
