Description
Summary:"Abstract- Recently, the world has witnessed significant developments in different domains relying on energy as the essential commodity for completing the relevant cycles. Renewable energy sources (RESs) are intended as the main source of energy for supplying clean energy in future modern energy grids leading to uncertain and uncontrollable energy generation processes. (R2-1) Herein, the sustainable development of modern energy networks has become a critical switch in the energy landscape due to emerging new intelligent and uncertain energy systems. Under this circumstance, energification needs to be carried out for all consumers in various geographical and other conditions to provide affordable and reliable energy for end-users. Indeed, energification can facilitate the way for fairly supplying multi-carrier energy to all consumers without considering their different conditions resulting in realizing the justice and equity in energy delivery based on the grid modernization protocols. Therefore, energy justice and equity have attracted remarkable attention in the sustainable development of modern energy networks. This chapter is to clarify what is the real place of energy justice and equity in the suitable development of future modern multi-carrier energy networks"--
