Summary:This dataset uses video and audio recordings to demonstrate how to generate, synchronise and begin analysis work in MAXQDA with automated transcripts from widely available, free-to-the-user systems. The dataset provides a methodological and theoretical context together with sustained consideration of the importance of engaging in considered, reflective, and immersive approaches to enhance the research engagement rather than merely speed it up. The TQRMUL dataset consists of video and audio recordings together with transcripts of five interviews with undergraduate students on the subject of friendship. The dataset files are accompanied by a teaching guide and a student guide.
