Diving into the concept of how infrastructures can be understood as 'affective' in their varied expressions of movement and imprint on cultural life through the participatory role of language, affect, and infrastructural studies, Intimate confession is a project is a complement to the exhibition of the same name at the Blaffer Art Museum. The book includes work from Gwenneth Boelens, Benvenuto Chavajay Ixtetelá, ektor garcia, Lonnie Holley, Anna Mayer, Na Mira, Kate Newby, Josie Ann Teets, Chiffon Thomas, Iris Touliatou, and Clémence de La Tour du Pin, and contributions from scholars and poets Kai Bosworth, Lara Mimosa Montes, Michael D. Snediker, Juliana Spahr, Roberto Tejada, Ara Wilson, as well as a curatorial essay by Jennifer Teets.
