Item Description:Imperfect copy; contains only the title page, the preface, a dcoommendatory verse by John Dryden, a prologue by Henry St. Johns, Esq., and 1 page of "Person's names."
These pages immediately follow the Epilogue of Lansdowne's "The she-gallants," having the same imprint. It appears that both "The she-gallants" and "Heroick love" were taken from Four plays of the Right Honourable the Lord Lansdowne. [London : printed for W. Feales ..., 1732]. According to ESTC T59827, "Each play has a separate dated titlepage, but the pagination and register of 'Heroick love' and 'The Jew of Venice' continue that of 'The she-galants'."
