Item Description:Based on the Latin prose history of Wallace by John Blair.
Added collective title page: Ye actis and deidis of ye illuster and vailzeand campioun, Shyr Wilham Wallace, Knycht off Elrisle.
With engraved frontispieces in volumes 1 and 3. The portrait was engraved by D. Lizars; the fontrntispiece in volume 3 probably by J. Beugo, after a design by Birrell.
Volume 3 has two sequences of pagination, a glossary, and a final list of subscribers.
The Cushing Library/Rare Books copy was acquired as part of the Lois Goddard Morrison Collection of Eighteenth Century Literature.
