The text records the Admirable-class minesweeper's commission from 25 March 1944 to activities in both the North Atlantic and Pacific Ocean, until 1 March 1946, when she was awaiting orders for further action.
On each side of map are large photographic illustrations; on the left the ship at sea; on the right 4 sea views likely taken from aboard the ship, including an exploding naval mine.
Intended as a souvenir for sailors disembarking the ship for the last time.--Bookseller.
