Printed on heavy paper; enclosed in gray heavy paper wrapper. The Cushing Library/Dawson French Collection copy is accompanied by a scrapbook showing plans for the published volume. It contains layouts of the finished publication, with cut-outs of the printed text taped onto folded leaves of cheap paper, and proof prints of the illustrations in black ink, one of them on heavier paper. Annotations in manuscript appear throughout. Enclosed in the same type of gray heavy paper wrapper as the published work. |
