In this state the verso of A4 is blank; the drop-head title on B1 begins "The Farthfr"; page 2, line 32 ends correctly "in my"; catchword on page 73: "Spa-"; page 108, line 16: "three old Halberds"; page 295 is correctly numbered; the recto of A4, line 2 reads: "Breaking" instead of "breaking"; the line endings on page 353 have slipped, with lines 25-30 giving incorrect line endings; a variant has page 295 numbered 215; a second has "any Dif-" at end of line 4 on the recto of A4. Title printed within double rules. Signatures: A⁴ B-2B⁸. Title vignette (ship); head- and tail-pieces; initials. Title of map: "A map of the world, on wch. is delineated the voyages of Robinson Cruso". The Cushing Library/Rare Books copy lacks the engraved folded map.
