Summary:"This book is the first monograph in China which systematically analyzes the connotation, attributes, characteristics, construction mechanism, categories, roles and influences of "geo-culture". In the view of international political sociology and international relations, the book analyzes the geo-culture and its social construction with the constructivism theory of Alexander Wendt's "structuralism" and its defects as the theoretical fulcrum and starting point. It has important significance for constructing the theoretical research in current international relations and international political sociology. By analysing the geo-culture at the "national level" and "supranational level" of the countries of the Indo-China Peninsula in Southeast Asia, the author believes that nationality and religion are the most important variables and "ambiguous two dimensions" in the construction of geo-cultural society. There are "three modes of identity relationship" among ethnical identity, religious identity and national political identity. From the perspective of international political sociology, the spiritual values and shared ideas based on religion and nation are like a "cultural gene chain" of a society, which can capable of transcend the times, national boundaries and natural geographical scope, and play a role on constructing geo-cultural and inter-state relations. Therefore, religion and nationality are the social foundations that the political power cannot ignore. Meanwhile, geo-culture is a social construction factor that the international system cannot ignore"--
