Description
Summary:"Architectural work in Chiapas has been little documented within the history of Mexican architecture. However, the dialogue between the geographic, socioeconomic and physical conditions of its surroundings has generated that each current has its own interpretation in the region, with emerging creative proposals based on endemic material and formal approaches. In this context, Apaloosa Estudio de Arquitectura --based in Tuxtla Gutǐrrez and led by Armando G̤mez Sol̤rzano-- has worked from the knowledge of vernacular domestic architecture. With 16 works, this book gives an account of the work of the first ten years of Apaloosa, an office that has known how to communicate its processes and projects with a community.
