Description
Summary:The Cross, The Candle and the Crown is a narrative history of a small college for men In the southeastern region of the United States that has global Importance. Although It Is a scholarly volume, the author has used the narrative approach, which allows for continuity and reader's engagement. It reads like a novel. I have also tried to tell the unvarnished history of Morehouse and taken to task some of the hidebound myths about the school that have existed for generations. On the other hand, there Is many positive events In the story of Morehouse, causing the negative events to retreat Into the shadows. With so little, Morehouse has grown to provide the United States and the world some of their greatest leaders.
