Description
| Summary: | Tells the story of the contribution women have made to Labor progress--the battle for fair wages and treatment, for decent hours and working conditions, for all the things which today we take for granted but which would not have been possible without courageous, concerned--and too often forgotten--people like Rose Schneiderman. She became the organizer and later president of the New York Women's Trade Union League, and helped to organize the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was also the only woman on the Labor Advisory Board of the National Recovery Act.
