Item Description:	Detached from: Nouvel atlas, v. 3, part 2. Relief shown pictorially. Map is embellished with a galleon at full sail, a sea monster, a cherub and pair of armadillos atop the notes, and a large, ornate title cartouche. Includes explanation "Notularum circa Mexico explanatio." Vertical fold at center. The Cushing Library copy is part of the Ronald L. and V. Jane Woellhof Rare Map Collection.
