"La Provincia de Mexico de la Comp[a]ñ[i]a de IHS consagra y dedica este mapa reconocida a su Real Beneficencia." At bottom: three ornate cartouches against pictorial grounds with costumed groups of Spanish, Asian, and Baja California natives, and flora and fauna. One of four maps contained in Miguel Venegas' Noticia de la California, 1757 (third volume). The Cushing Library/Colonial Mexican copy is part of the Maps of Imaginary Places Collection.
