The Cushing Library/Ragan Military copy was owned by Captain Robert Todd Foss, S-1 (senior personnel officer) of the 511th; includes “notice of selection” plus cover letter for Foss dated June 17, 1941; 19 handwritten letters sent to Foss by his wife Olive, date stamped June 15 to August 5 1944, within envelopes addressed to him in San Francisco; 1 typewritten letter from his son Charlie, sent on Foss’s retirement; 1 postcard, dated 1976. |
