Summary:In Sao Paulo, some non-traditional families are articulating in favor of LGBT rights. With surnames such as D'Matthah, Vallentyne Lawinny, Mad Queen, Lobos or Stronger, these families are groups made up of LGBT youth and adolescents from the periphery, who decided to unite not because of blood ties, but because of affection and the desire to conquer the public space without fear, without feeling discriminated. The origin of each family varies. Dating back to the mid-2000s, they now bring together hundreds of members, mostly between 16 and 20 years old, who divide into the roles of father, mother, son or daughter. The series intends to reveal the profile of each of these groups of young people and teenagers. Five families will be portrayed, focusing on three of their members.
Episode 5: O último episódio da série é dedicado à família mais ativa e politizada de todas, a Stronger. Ela surgiu há 10 anos como resposta a ameaças e assaltos no centro da cidade, mas hoje em dia sua energia e atividades extrapolam qualquer circunscrição. Acompanhe as articulações de Elvis Justino, líder político da Stronger, com entidades de governo e da sociedade civil, a exemplo de secretarias de assistência social e da Associação da Parada do Orgulho LGBT, onde a família participa como membro; compartilhe a expectativa de Diana, neta de Elvis, em encontrar um lugar onde possa morar sem se sentir ofendida por ser mulher trans; e descubra como é que Lyka, filha de Elvis e mãe solteira de dois filhos, inspira a Stronger num projeto social dirigido à comunidade LGBT em situação de risco.
