Description
Summary:Change the Document Units to Inches (optional). I used imperial units in this tutorial because that happened to be the doorstop dimensions I found online. You can still follow along with millimeters if that's what you prefer. Otherwise, simply toggle the Document Settings > hover over the Units area > select the "Change Active Units" icon that appears on hover > a dialog will open, change the Unit Type to Inch > click OK. Visual Style set to Shaded (optional). You may notice the appearance of the doorstop looks a little different. That's because my Visual Style setting was set to the "Shaded" option. This setting is simply visual and does not affect the 3D model in any manner. Go to your Display Settings (computer icon) at the bottom of Fusion 360 > Visual Style > select Shaded. The default Visual Style is "Shaded with Visual Edges Only," which is used throughout this course.
