Summary:Raw Footage of Trinidad East Indian wedding from families of Groom and Bride. Groom's house, Young woman with tray guided by groom's mother to wedding tent where the pundit sits. Still standing another woman moves the water filled brass utensil around in circles before the young woman The groom is led by mother into the wedding tent, his hands filled with offerings. The pundit performs ceremony, chanting, as the groom sits beside him. And the pundit puts knotted circle of grass around one of his fingers and flowers in his palms. The ceremony continues as the pundit, chanting puts other items in the groom's hands. The groom touches liquid in his hand on items in the alter in front of him and places symbolic items, flower petals, cotton and oils, water and Ghee poured onto leaf and ladled onto items on the alter and the flames lit beside them.
