Summary:We join Ben in Spain's remote Andalucía Mountains with British couple Alan Parks and Lorna Penfold. The couple, who boast a 20 year age gap, left their careers in Brighton for a lifestyle they knew nothing about and a pipe-dream of becoming successful alpaca farmers. Life is busy at their 150 year-old 'Olive Mill' home with dogs, chickens and the 9 alpacas that need to be sheared. Ben discovers that Lorna's daughter made the original move with them to Spain, a decision that put huge pressure on family life and she decided to return to the UK.
