Description
Summary:In a region where large scale displacement of villagers is happening due to coal mining, Shoukie and his dog Kheru spend their night, which probably is their last in the village. Their entire village has been abandoned for almost two years, and Shoukie has remained adamant to stay there like a ghost with his dog. Earlier that morning, Shoukie has been served a final notice by the mining company for eviction. Sensing an imminent defeat, an illogical thought stems within him that his dog would die that night. That his dog dies at home and not an alien land helps him salvage some pride. The night passes with this firm belief of the dog's death, hunger and nostalgia.
