Description
Summary:Sir Ben Kingsley doesn't so much immerse himself in his roles as disappear into them entirely. Starring in Sir Richard Attenburgh's Gandhi, he stunned the world with his Oscar winning portrayal of the Indian spiritual leader. In Schindler's List he embodied the emotional core of Steven Spielberg's film, as the accountant Itzak Stern. More recently he played comedy in The Wackness, haunted cinema-goers in Martin Scorsese's Shutter Island and strapped himself into Mike Newell's blockbuster ride, The Prince of Persia. Born Krishna Bhanji, his most famous creation, of course, is himself.
